Rochford station is immediately next to the venue. Sat nav postcode SS4 1BU.
Rochford is on the Greater Anglia line from London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria. Trains from London take roughly 50 minutes and run about every 20 minutes for most of the day. Check times on National Rail before you travel, particularly at weekends when engineering work is common.
The station has two platforms, and they are reached differently. This matters if you need to avoid steps.
Arriving from London (Southend-bound platform)
The platform is on the same side of the line as the venue. Leave the platform and the entrance is a short, step-free walk away though please be aware there are high differences across the car park, you need to approach from the road entrance.
Arriving from Southend (London-bound platform)
The platform is on the far side of the line from the venue. You have two choices:
- The footbridge: the quick route, but it has steps (2 to 3 minutes).
- The step-free route: use the ramp onto Hall Road, follow Hall Road to the right under the railway bridge to West Street. Keep on the pavement and follow it around keeping the brook to your right, then right again down Bradley Way past the station car park to the venue. About 420 metres. Allow 7-10 minutes. There is a smooth incline up to the venue. There is a ramp to the far left of the venue in the car park which will bring you down to all three entrances to the venue.
Leaving towards London
The same applies in reverse. If you need the step-free route, allow at least 10-12 minutes from the venue door to the London-bound platform, especially for the last train.
Google Maps and other apps do not show the step-free route
If you follow your phone from the London-bound platform it will send you over the footbridge. Use the diagram below instead.

Text description of the step-free route from the London-bound platform
- Leave Platform 2 by the ramp at the northern end, the end nearest the footbridge, and turn right onto Hall Road so that the railway is on your right.
- Follow Hall Road north for about 150 metres. It bends to the right and passes under the railway bridge.
- Just after the bridge, Hall Road meets West Street. Turn right along West Street. The bus stop is here.
- After about 130 metres, turn right into Bradley Way, the road running south beside the station car park.
- Follow Bradley Way past the station car park into the Freight House car park. The building is on your left and the entrance faces the car park.
By air
London Southend Airport is one stop away on the same line.
- Train: from Southend Airport station, take any train towards London Liverpool Street. Rochford is the next stop, about 3 minutes. Because you are arriving from the Southend direction you will be on the London-bound platform. There is a lift for Southend bound services.
- Car: Please note drop off/pickup comes with a significant surcharge. The drop off is patrolled and has ANPR/Barrier systems. The retail park adjacent has cameras specifically to catch people performing drop offs to avoid charges in the retail park as well, do not risk family/friends who don't know.
- Taxi: a short ride, usually under 10 minutes. The taxis are subject to the same surcharge as noted above. (Though some have licensing deals. Check before booking.)
- Walking: There is no walking route through the station, you will have to follow the road behind the retail park, over the mini roundabouts and turn left at the main roundabout over the railway bridge. It is approximately 36 minutes.
By car
From the M25, take the A127 towards Southend, then the A1159 and the B1013 into Rochford. Sat nav postcode SS4 1BU. The council-run Freight House Car Park is on site.

By bus
The 7 & 8 run from outside the venue to Rayleigh, a 3 minute walk. The Southend bound stop is on East Street and is an 8 minute walk. Use the Traveline journey planner for current times.
By bike
Cycle parking in the station car park. Rochford is flat, and National Cycle Route 16 passes nearby. Please note your bicycles are left at your own risk. If you have a high value bicycle, please let us know in advance and we will see if we can accommodate it.
On foot
From Rochford town centre and Market Square, the venue is about 5 minutes' walk.
