Run by Rochford District Council. Around 134 spaces, mixed short and long stay. Charges apply; see the council's car park page for current tariffs, which we do not repeat here because they change.

Rochford District Council Freight House Car Park Details & Charging

The station car park is run by Saba and is charged differently and at different times.  We cannot refund you if you park in the station car park by accident.

• Evening and weekend rules: Monday-Friday free after 7pm, Saturday free after 1pm, Sunday free all day.
• Concessions for event visitors: Blue Badge free parking.
• Payment methods: Card/Cash & online parking.  Location code: 79944 PayByPhone.
• No overnight parking is allowed.

Electric vehicle charging

There is one rapid EV charger in the car park. It is currently designated for taxis and private hire vehicles only.

Blue Badge bays and drop-off

• Blue Badge bays: 4 dedicated bays adjacent to the buildings ramp.  Blue badges may use any space.
• Drop-off point: outside venue, there is a loop at the end of the car park to turn.

Overflow parking for large events

• Station Car Park - Note paid evenings and weekends. The station car park is run by Saba and is charged differently and at different times.  We cannot refund you if you park in the station car park by accident.

• There are on street parking options, but please note the parking restrictions as the vary significantly around the district.
